1. Have Your Lost USB Drive Ask For Help

I shudder at the thought of losing my USB drive. My entire life is on that USB drive. �So,� I thought, �what could I do to help ensure that I get my lost USB drive back� After some consideration, I came up with a few ideas. All you have to do is copy and paste this small source code and when you’re USB drive is plugged into a good samaritan’s computer, a message will pop up, allowing the person to email you.
2. Encrypt your USB

I will be walking you through the steps needed to encrypt a USB drive using the free encryption tool TrueCrypt. In this tutorial, I will be using a Windows XP system as an example, but TrueCrypt will also run on Linux and OS X. Encrpting your USB is great, but why not just encrypt your entire hard drive.
3. Use your USB to snoop on Internet Usage, IMs, and More

Monitor and control access to your home or office computer and laptops from anywhere, anytime. WOS stands for the three letter abbreviation Webserver On Stick and makes it possible, to run a webserver based on Apache, MySQL and PHP from an USB Stick or any other writable media harddrive, flash cards etc.) without installation under Windows (98 to Vista). There are three different versions of WOS, be sure to read on for installation information.

This stuff can be installed on any portable drive, i.e. USB thumbdrive, PDA or
