In my opinion the Apple TV is still a little overpriced for what it does. As soon as more Apple TV Hacks are released, adding to its functionality, the value will be greatly enhanced. I find that most products from apple don’t come down in price, it stays right where the item was priced at when it came out, then it becomes discontinued. Take the Iphone it takes a cell phone contract and 499 when it was new it has come down a 100 bucks, I just want I itouch but not for 399
