Superb 3-Axis Ball of LEDs
Let’s face it, LEDs are the reason most of us got into electronics in the first place 
. This superb project uses one blue, red, and green LED and spins them on three different axes. A complex project with stunning rave-like results guaranteed to educe seizures. Check out the video demo below and the author’s YouTube Channel for more laser and LED projects.
As the LED ring gyrates around the axes, the RGB light changes patterns with the modulation. The project was put together using spare parts including standard DC-motors which are controlled using pulse width modulation (PWM). The LEDs are then flashed at different intervals to create the neat lighting effects.
