
Router modding Yes, indeed my friends, it’s true. Although a router isn’t the most conventional case mod, it’s still pretty awesome and rather hilarious. Using some plexiglass, your trusty dremel, and a couple of LEDs, you too can pimp your boring router. All you need are some basic supplies, and the end result doesn’t look to shabby. Speaking of bizarre projects, we’ve seen laser etched laptops but nothing quite like this laser etched laptop trackpad.
Router Mod Parts/Tools Required:
- A router (I used a Linksys WRTP54G.)
- LED lighting
- Plexi
- Soldering Iron
- Jig Saw/Dremel
- Wire Cutters/Strippers
- Various glues
