Here’s another superb mod from f00f00 detailing the process of adding force-feedback to a stock Nintendo DS using LEDs and a vibration motor. With limited space inside the DS, he used all surface mount parts and a circuit board smaller than a penny. The video below demonstrates the mod in action:
