I know that Europe, Australia and the U.S. have VERY strict LAWS about flying RC planes. You do need to check things out.

Strict? All laws are strict, that’s why they’re called ‘laws’. The RC aircraft laws in the US aren’t very strictly enforced though, depending on where you are. Basically if stay away from airports and under 400 ft. you’ll be fine.
