Wow, this War Machine suit is just absolutely stunning. An incredible piece of work. If you don’t know, War Machine is a superhero, a sidekick of Iron Man in the upcoming Iron Man 2 movie. Although Tony Stark had a billions of dollars to create his gadgets, in real life we have inspiration. So, meet the real life Tony Stark who has fashioned a War Machine suit of armor all on his own.

Design Notes:
The suit is built with High Impact urethane which is semi rigid plastic and can be fashioned and held together by 600+ rivets and rivet washers.
The other specs include:
- Wrist rockets with laser
- Mini Gun simulated fire and drop lock system with laser
- Movie accurate Arch reactor
- Midsection with movable plates
- “Underwear armor”
- Leg’s/Pants armor
- Armor shoes
- Neck cover piece armor

The guy has mixed and matched the War Machine concept and blended in elements taken from a sneak preview of Iron Man II designs. Unfortunately, the step by step build instructions are not given, but it would take an incredibly inspired individual to recreate the design. We have lots of other DIY Iron Man projects to keep you busy though.

Features to come:
- Repulsor gauntlets
- Upgraded helmet with upgraded flip open/close hinge system
- Lighted eyes
- Remote firing system (that will shoot bottle rockets)
- Repulsor gauntlet top cover.
- Paint job with brush metal finish.
The suit is a work in progress but already looks stunning. The movie is due on May 2010 and the timing couldn’t be better for you to make a War Machine armor of your own.
