How to: iPhone as a Wireless Router for your Laptop

Transform your iPhone into a wireless router, allowing you to connect your wifi deprived laptop to the internet anywhere phone service is available. It’s also perfect when you’re browsing the web but the small screen is too cramped. Now you can easily switch over to your laptop for a larger viewing window. dont give people false information, its not a router, its just using the wifi card in the iphone or ipod touch for use on a computer without a pci or usb wifi card.

I believe this is called an ad-hoc configuration, not actually a wireless router that may seem to be available for the G1. The iPhone is simply a gateway or portal to the internet.

I haven’t tried it, but, if it converts one protocol to another (i.e. Wi-Fi to G3) it’s a router.

Very funny. iPhone can’t see your flash images. Why present something for iPhone that iPhone can’t see? Sheesh!
