well im thinking one would be hard pressed to find a sub-woofer that is not shielded these days, computer or not….

You’re not putting the magnet directly onto the motherboard. You’ve got a fair bit of protection between the two devices.
Velcro straps are pretty handy for tidying cables, plus you can easily take them off when you’re ready to move everything.

2″ pvc conduit straps are wonderful, as you can space them as needed, and add/pull out cables easily without everything else falling out of the attachment points…
