I would love to find a way to make a solar water fountain. I have 14 solar lights in my front yard and I would gladly sacrifice half of them – heck, I’d sacrifice all of them! – to make some kind of cool water fixture, if I only knew what steps to take. I even have a fountain with a pump, but I haven’t installed it because I don’t have access to electricity outside in the front yard. “Solarizing” the fountain would be ideal.

This seems like a project that would be right up your guyses alley. I know it can be done somehow, because I saw some solar fountains at Lowe’s at least a year ago but I was too cheap to buy one at $150. Did I mention how flimsy it looked?
