HacknMod needs your user submitted project ideas. If you have an idea for a potential electronics project, leave us a note as a comment in this post (or email us your idea). We’ll pick the one we like best, built it, post a tutorial and give whoever suggested it a prize (or two or three) of their choice from the HacknMod Store.
To get your mind stimulated a bit, here are a few project ideas we’ve recently received:
- Use a peltier plate (one side gets hot, one side gets cold) to create feet warming slippers. (used here)
- A device that “listens” to the music around you and makes LEDs flash correspondingly. For example, something you’d use on a dance floor. We posted something similar.
- A port tester that lights up whenever an ethernet port is “hot” or “live.” This would be a great device for IT professionals who must check and patch ethernet ports on a regular basis.
These are just a few ideas we’ve received recently from readers like you. Post your ideas in the comments and tell us what you’d like to see.
