Hack a Prius to get 100 MPG – Full Electric Vehicle Mode
Take advantage of the ‘Full Electric Mode’ that comes standard on European and Japanese Prius models. Believe it or not, this will allow a Prius to get 100 miles per gallon. Even if you don’t own one, it’s interesting to see how this hack is done. This hack comprises of simply adding a button that’s conveniently absent on the model shipped to the states. When this button is pressed, the Prius will run on full electric up to 34 miles per hour then switch to hybrid mode. It is perfect for in town driving, parking lots, schools zones and other common slow speed areas.
