DIY Virtual Windows using IR LEDs + Wiimote

Why wake up to the same view each day if you can wake up somewhere different?  Using a Wiimote, Mac, and infrared LEDs, you can create your own virtual windows which change as you move locations within the room.  You can download WinScape for your Mac computer and use an iPhone app to control it remotely.  So basically, all the hard work is done for you – You just need to install the TVs and connect everything.

How to Build your Own:

The video above features the build process of the wall which houses the two TVs.  Check out full details on the build site which also features tips on shooting your own HD video on location so you can ‘bring your vacation home’ to your living room.  A superb project with stunning results!
