We’ve seen an incredible solar mirror before which can melt steel in seconds. That one was expensive and built in a lab. This time, you can build your own by attaching thousands of mirrors to a parabolic satellite dish. The video claims it’s as power as “5000 suns” – Not quite…but it’s still quite impressive. Could you not just mirror coat the thing? Say chrome plate it? surely that’d be even more effective and in a complete bowl structure it could pin point the heat more directly. Saying that, i wouldn’t want to set it up in fear that it melts me….but it could be a very clever way of harnessing energy to create electricity for the household. In much sunnier climates….not England
