DIY Rocket-Powered Ice Fishing!
When people think of ice fishing, they think of sitting out in the freezing weather for hours, waiting without guarantee for a fish. But not for this DIYer! He rigged up an system which launches a rocket when a fish pulls on the hook. Check out the video (skip to the last 5 seconds)
Definitely better than sitting inside an ice-house all day. The system only alerts the fisherman when a fish is caught, but it doesn’t actually yank the line out of the water – Maybe that will be in version 2.0? Heck, it could be used for non-ice fishing too. Awesome work!
