DIY Portable N64 Handheld

Here’s a superb DIY portable console hack which starts with a standard N64 game console and turns it into a portable handheld. The best part is that it looks superb and also completely conceals the game cartridge once it’s installed in the module. Additionally, it features a port for an external controller and charging.

Using a 5-inch PlayStation One screen, all N64components are milled to fit into the case. The cooling fan (on back) can be used as a ‘kickstand’ if the player wishes to sit the game on a flat surface. Check out the full build details.
