DIY Massive 8x8x8 LED Cube
LED cubes are among the most enticing LED projects we’ve featured on HacknMod. Previously, we’ve shown you how to make both large and small LED cubes. This project, however, has far a far more detailed tutorial and demonstrates more complex animations. It’s guaranteed to get you scrambling for your soldering iron and clearing your schedule this weekend 
This LED cube is nothing short of epic, as you can see. Check out the build instructions to create your own if you have the patience, tools, and an estimated $67 for all the components. If you’re a little short on the patience, then you might want to try this 4x4x4 cube first. Not as epic, but still worth building! Be sure to pick up some affordable LEDs in the HacknMod Store.
