When you’re playing with electronics, the last thing you would want near them is any fluid. But the Bioshock Mineral Oil Media Center mod goes against the flow: It’s a PC case mod that looks like an aquarium because the computer is submerged in 4 gallons of non-conductive mineral oil.

The motherboard and power supply sit at the back on an acrylic sheet and the only part which is not submerged is the hard drive. The rest of the parts like the bubbler, pump, and gravel came from a local pet store. Apart from keeping the system cool, it also dampens the sound of the PC and makes a great weekend project.
