It's a fairly simple project and makes for a nice display piece. Det er en ganske enkel prosjektet og gir en fin skjerm stykke. Basically, this is a 10 inch tube with a gorgeous laser inside. I bought some basic materials and a project box from Radio Shack. Jeg kjøpte noen grunnleggende materialer og et prosjekt boks fra Radio Shack. The acrylic is from Tap Plastic. Den akryl er fra Pek plast. Total price (less than $100 dollars), was actually pretty cheap considering the laser is included in the overall cost. Total pris (mindre enn $ 100 dollar), var faktisk ganske billig med tanke på laseren er inkludert i den totale kostnaden.
I added some solid rods in the front just to add stability to the mount. Jeg har lagt noen solide stenger foran bare for å legge til stabilitet i montere. They came with the tube. De kom med røret. I picked it up used from a guy on LPF, and he had the mounting clips with it… Jeg tok det opp brukt fra en fyr på LPF, og han hadde montasjestifter med den ...

The tube came with the driver and power supply. Tuben fulgte med driveren og strømforsyning. So all I did was find a nice way to mount it using a cheap project box from RS, and some plastic from Tap Plastic… Så alt jeg gjorde var å finne en fin måte å montere den med en billig prosjekt boks fra RS, og noen plast fra Pek plast ...

…this isn't really a tutorial though. ... Dette er egentlig ikke en tutorial skjønt. Just “I bought some stuff” and “look, pics”…you bought all of that from rat shack? Bare "Jeg kjøpte noen ting" og "utseende, pics" ... du kjøpt alt dette fra rotte shack? i haven't seen anything like most of that (the plastic bits sure, but none of the rest of it). Jeg har ikke sett noe som de fleste av det (det plastikk biter sikker, men ingen av resten av det).

The HeNe lasers are really pretty basic. De HeNe lasere er egentlig ganske enkel. They come with a high voltage driver, the laser tube, some contact points for mounting the tube, and a AC/DC power supply for the driver. De kommer med en høyspent sjåfør, laseren tube, noen kontaktpunkter for montering i røret, og en AC / DC strømforsyning for sjåføren.
All I did was find a cheap (but cool) way of mounting the tube! Alt jeg gjorde var å finne en billig (men kul) måte å montere røret! I got the acrylic pieces at Tap Plastic, but the project box and switch at Radio Shack… Jeg fikk akryl brikker på Pek på plast, men prosjektet boksen og slå på Radio Shack ...

I got the HeNe laser from a member who was selling it. Jeg fikk HeNe laser fra et medlem som var å selge det. You can check the BST section there. Du kan sjekke BST delen der. Or Google HeNe laser tubes… Eller Google HeNe laser rør ...
