It's a fairly simple project and makes for a nice display piece. C'est un projet assez simple, et en fait un morceau d'affichage de Nice. Basically, this is a 10 inch tube with a gorgeous laser inside. Fondamentalement, il s'agit d'un tube de 10 pouces avec un laser magnifiques à l'intérieur.
I bought some basic materials and a project box from Radio Shack. J'ai acheté des matériaux de base et une zone de projet de Radio Shack. The acrylic is from Tap Plastic. L'acrylique est de Tap plastique. Total price (less than $100 dollars), was actually pretty cheap considering the laser is included in the overall cost. Prix total (moins de $ 100 dollars), était en fait assez bon marché compte tenu du laser est inclus dans le coût global.
I added some solid rods in the front just to add stability to the mount. J'ai ajouté quelques tiges solides à l'avant juste pour accroître la stabilité de la monture. They came with the tube. Ils sont venus avec le tube. I picked it up used from a guy on LPF, and he had the mounting clips with it… Je l'ai pris d'occasion chez un gars sur LPF, et il avait les clips de fixation avec lui ...

The tube came with the driver and power supply. Le tube est venu avec le pilote et l'alimentation. So all I did was find a nice way to mount it using a cheap project box from RS, and some plastic from Tap Plastic… Donc je n'ai fait que trouver une façon agréable de le monter en utilisant une zone de projet bon marché de RS, et certains plastiques de Tap plastique ...

…this isn't really a tutorial though. ... Ce n'est pas vraiment un si tutoriel. Just “I bought some stuff” and “look, pics”…you bought all of that from rat shack? Just "J'ai acheté quelques trucs" et "Regarde, pics" ... tu as acheté tout cela à partir de cabane à rat? i haven't seen anything like most of that (the plastic bits sure, but none of the rest of it). Je n'ai pas rien vu comme la plupart des que (les morceaux de plastique bien sûr, mais rien de tout de lui).

The HeNe lasers are really pretty basic. Les lasers HeNe sont vraiment assez basique. They come with a high voltage driver, the laser tube, some contact points for mounting the tube, and a AC/DC power supply for the driver. Ils viennent avec un pilote à haute tension, le tube laser, certains points de contact pour le montage du tube, et une alimentation AC / DC de puissance pour le conducteur.
All I did was find a cheap (but cool) way of mounting the tube! Je n'ai fait que trouver un bon marché (mais cool) façon de monter le tube! I got the acrylic pieces at Tap Plastic, but the project box and switch at Radio Shack… J'ai obtenu les pièces de plastique acrylique au robinet, mais la zone du projet et de passer à Radio Shack ...

I got the HeNe laser from a member who was selling it. J'ai eu le laser HeNe à partir d'un député qui le vendait. You can check the BST section there. Vous pouvez vérifier la section de Paris là-bas. Or Google HeNe laser tubes… Ou Google laser HeNe tubes ...
