This modified Mongoose Blackcomb is a super e-bike that can not only take on all terrains, it can do so at a max speed of 50 mph. The mountain bike has been converted into an e-bike (note, this link has been having uptime issues) using a Crystalyte Brute 5000 Series Brushless DC motor powered by a Sony Li-Ion battery pack.

The total pack gives 100.8V fully charged at 24Ah. What’s impressive is its range and the acceleration. On normal roads, the bike can go for bit more than 125 miles at a flat speed of 25mph. It can go from 0-40kph in 6.9 seconds. The bike is fully loaded with lots of instrumentation: cycle analyst V2.0 ebike computer, GPS, accelerometer, and voltage and temperature meters to name a few. The strong aluminum frame carries the bike easily over all terrains.
