Custom Magic 8 Ball features internal OLED Screen
Remember those Magic 8 balls growing up and how the stupid bubbles and purple liquid always got in the way of reading the prediciton? With a bit of electronic modding, it display custom messages by replacing the normal message die with an OLED screen, adding a wireless microcontroller, and an accelerometer. The accelerometer is triggered when the 8 Ball is shaken and it signals the microcontroller to turn on the OLED screen and show the ‘magic’ messages.
The Magic 8 ball project starts from buying a standard Magic 8 ball and opening it up to replace the usual contents with the electronics. But after that the messages can be fed wirelessly without having to open the 8 Ball again. Not the most hardcore hacking project we’ve ever seen 
, but pretty novel nonetheless
