Cool your computer using Dry Ice

Cool CPU using Dry Ice

We need to find a way to get dry ice onto the processor of a computer. Holding it in your hand is pretty much out of the question. We need to build some sort of system that will hold the dry ice against the CPU, and not let water condense around the rest of the mobo (for you noob haxors out there, a mobo is short for motherboard). Well, I had a marvelous idea, why not take a soda can, put dry ice in it, and attach it to the CPU, it is all metal right.

I can’t even begin to tell you how much of a bad idea this is, Sure it sounds like it could be pretty cool, But you risk not only blowing up your computer but yourself too.

Yes, you risk blowing up the computer and giving yourself cold burns, but it’s been done successfully for years.

It may be a nice fog effect for horror games too

Also want to make sure you have adequate ventilation as the sublimated CO2 is toxic in higher concentrations within air.
