
We’ve seen some neat internet-based remote control projects including the Ethernet Enabled Christmas Bells project. Here’s another neat project to add to our collection. The Orbduino is a robotic arm which can can be controlled entirely through a web interface. It uses the Arduino which connects to the user interface shown above. Go ahead, test it out!
Users can interact with the objects using the arm or display colored lights using an orb lighting device. You can view everything via a video feed.

Orbduino is scalable, and there are plans to add additional devices in the future. For now, only a single player can play at a time. While you’re there, you can check out the technical details and history of the project.

I was wondering what to do with a robot arm after I hacked it with Arduino…
