Build your own Wireless Audio Streamer
Learn how to design a DIY audio streamer for your home. You can transmit your favorite tunes wirelessly from your computer to all other rooms throughout the home. It’s definitely much more affordable than installing a hard wire house wide speaker system.
Using an old pc, an LCD screen, and some speakers, you can build a custom wireless audio streamer. The tutorial calls for over $90 in parts but realistically you could complete the project for less than $40.
The PC you use needs to have a serial RS232 port, but if your computer doesn’t have one, you can pick up a USB adapter for 5 bucks.
