The Arduino Mega is based on the ATmega1280 and has 54 digital input/output pins (of which 14 can be used as PWM outputs), 16 analog inputs, 4 UARTs (hardware serial ports), a 16 MHz crystal oscillator, 128 KB of flash memory, USB connection, an ICSP header, and a reset button. De Arduino Mega is gebaseerd op de ATmega1280 en beschikt over 54 digitale input / output-pins (waarvan 14 kunnen worden gebruikt als PWM-uitgangen), 16 analoge ingangen, 4 UARTs (hardware seriële poorten), een 16 MHz kristaloscillator, 128 KB flash geheugen, USB-aansluiting, een ICSP header, en een reset knop. It contains everything needed to support the microcontroller - simply connect it to a computer with a USB cable or power it with a AC-to-DC adapter or battery to get started. Het bevat alles wat nodig is ter ondersteuning van de microcontroller - gewoon aansluiten op een computer met een USB-kabel of de macht met een AC-to-DC adapter of batterijen om te beginnen. The Mega is fully compatible with most shields designed for the Arduino Duemilanove or Diecimila. it worked quite well, but the text “hello world” was quite flickery, the poor thing just didn't have the same speed as the AVR based arduino (admittedly, I dont know the set up of the code, but I was only able to scan one LED at a time - in the same fashion as pixels on a TV). het werkte vrij goed, maar de tekst "hello world" was flickery, het arme ding gewoon niet hebben dezelfde snelheid als de AVR gebaseerd Arduino (inderdaad, ik weet het opzetten van de code, maar ik was alleen in staat voor het scannen van een LED op een moment - op dezelfde wijze als de pixels op een TV).
anyway, I'm defiantly going to have to get my hands on an arduino soon. anyway, ik ben uitdagend zal hebben om mijn handen op een Arduino binnenkort.
