Taking a stock Ikea table, this hacker added a set of 81 individually controlled RGB LEDs to the frame, creating a glowing livingroom centerpiece. Using the Arduino, he can individually address each LED to control the color change. Now if only it was a VU meter which bumped to the beat of your music…Perhaps that’s another project

It IS a VU meter that reacts to music now. A while back I added a Shifty VU Shield and some code that displays the sound level in one axis and scrolls it through time on the other axis. Someday I might take a video of it too.
