Amazing Return of the Jedi Light Saber Replica

This is the best Star Wars light saber replica we’ve ever seen. The Obi Wan Kenobi lightsaber we saw a few months ago came close, but this one is just superb. It’s modeled after Luke’s light saber in Return of the Jedi:

Luke’s saber has a collapsible grip section which the earlier saber projects didn’t have. The unique collapsible grip is machined out of aluminum but has hollow parts that slide into each other smoothly. Another surprise is revealed when you slide apart the spring loaded grips; the hollow inside houses an illuminated crystal chamber just like the real deal (seen below). The crystal chamber is a green high power LED inside clear quartz. The blade is detachable and made of diffuser foam tube with 90 extremely bright LEDs.

The Return of the Jedi Luke Saber takes the basic features (like the classic lightsaber hum) from the Obi-Wan project and adds even more superb details.
